So much has been happening recently at Hartley’s Crocodile Adventures, you definitely don’t want to miss out on going to the park now!  See even more of the crocs and get even closer with the extension of the restaurant’s board walk area over the billabong.  Now even more people can see these incredible, pre-historic creatures while eating a yummy lunch at Lilies restaurant.

Who says only you get to eat lunch.  Crocodiles at the park can now be fed by YOU using a feeding stick.  But you better make it snappy as the crocodiles like their food fast.  You’ll be able to feel first-hand how strong these creatures actually are!

Koalas have moved in to their new home, which means lots of Koala hugs and photos to go around! The session times of 9:45am, 12 noon, 2:45pm and 4:45pm run for 15 minutes with only the additional cost of $20.  This is available to purchase on the day of travel at the photo area.

The wallaby, kangaroo and wombat enclosures are newly renovated and more of these much loved Aussie animals have been added to the Gondwana Gateway area.  Another new exhibit opened is the Birds of Prey aviary in the Cassowary Garden.

You know what it means when a new grandstand at the Crocodile Farm Tour opens… more crocodiles and even MORE shows.  This is also equipped with a concrete path for easy access.

Get an even better feel of nature with quieter electric outboard motors on the boat cruise.  As you quietly journey through Hartley’s lagoon.

Hartley’s is now more about ALL Aussie animals with new extensions and additional animals.  You can expect Hartley’s to grow even bigger and better as it is currently the largest zoo in the Cairns area.  With the closure of the Cairns Tropical Zoo on the 31^st of March after 35 years, a feeling of loss spread across Cairns.  Hartley’s Crocodile Adventures is now filling that gap with exciting new attractions and embracing many different native wildlife.
