55^th Cairns Festival “Colours Of Us”

Everyone likes Festival!

Another year, another celebration. Thanks Cairns Regional Council for delivery us the Cairns Festival 2016. The theme this year is “Colours Of Us”! Locals in Far North Queensland as well as visitors around the globe can enjoy this vibrant event. Grand Parade, Visual Arts at Cairns City Library, Family Fun Day, Festival Family Concert, Light Painting Arts, Outdoor Film Night, Gospel Choir and of course the exciting Fireworks! Most of the functions are free to join! There must have some activities that suit you and your whole family!

This year, the Cairns Regional Council has also utilised the newly opened Munro Martin Parklands (MMP) for the return of Circa presenting a family friendly performance, Carnival of the Animals. Also at MMP is the stunningly colourful Soweto Gospel Choir, long with local sensations Sounds of AustraNesia.

There are so many to offer! Event lasts for 10 days, from 26^th Aug to 4^th Sep, so make sure you bring your friends and family to join some, or all of them!
